We celebrated my father's 91st birthday today. Imagine! 91..not 21! The little hand sneaking some cake topping belongs to one of his great-grandsons, Matthew.

My father had an interesting childhood and life as a young adult. I am trying to find out more about this time in his life and as I do so, will document it.

How wonderful to look so vibrant at 92!!! I am enjoying your blog. So much here that I grew up with. I am 14 years younger than your dad so as he was leaving school, I was being born! Loved seeing the marbles, the fiddlesticks, etc. pix in another post. No, I think they are probably considered choking hazards now so kids probably don't play with them now.
Thanks Teddi and Faye:) Faye I remember marbles and fiddlesticks too and I really did have a billy cart! Which my dad made for me:) I am glady you are enjoying it. I must record the next episode of his life soon!
